Guilty dogs lock themselves up after chewing up bed

Aug. 22 (UPI) -- A dog sitter who discovered his charges had been up to no good while he wasn't around captured video of the canines putting themselves behind bars.

The video, posted to YouTube by user Gideon, shows the man greeting the two Australian shepherds before spotting the stuffing from a chewed-up dog bed spread across the floor.

"Who did this?" the man asks. "Who chewed up their bed?"

The man then turns around, revealing both dogs had climbed into their kennels on their own out of apparent guilt.

"Oh, I see. It wasn't just one of you," the filmer says. "It was a tag team."

"I was dog-sitting for a friend at their place when I discovered a chewed up doggy bed. I questioned the dogs and this happened," the man wrote in the video's description.
