Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Aug. 18 (UPI) -- A 10-foot python was rescued from a ledge outside the 19th floor of a Chinese skyscraper in a delicate rescue that was caught on camera. The video, filmed Sunday, shows the gold snake slithering precariously on the ledge outside of a window on the 19th floor of a residential skyscraper in Kunming, Yunnan Province, in southwestern China. Advertisement The footage shows several men using a rope to pull the massive snake back in through the window. Witnesses said the snake was being cared for by a building resident and slithered out through the open window when it was left unattended. Police sent the python to a wildlife rescue center, as pythons are a protected species in the country.
