Car bucks wheel during high-speed stunt attempt

Aug. 18 (UPI) -- A would-be stunt driver attempting a high-speed donut in a car he fixed himself ended up bucking a wheel in a failed stunt caught on camera.

The video, recorded in a residential neighborhood, shows the car, which has clearly seen better days, speeding down the road toward a stop sign.

The car attempts a donut maneuver in the intersection, causing a wheel to fly off the vehicle and roll away.

The driver then gets out of his car and lets loose a string of profanities while the filmer, a neighbor, laughs.

The filmer then approaches the man and explains he probably could have chosen a better location to test out his car's capabilities.

"This is not NASCAR," the man says.
