Unexpected bears raid bird feeders on man's garden deck

Aug. 17 (UPI) -- A man hoping to attract some flying fauna to his garden deck with some bird feeders ended up with some more unexpected visitors -- a family of bears.

Don Jordan posted a series of videos to YouTube showing the mother bear and three cubs raiding the bird feeders outside his home.

Jordan said he had intended to attract some birds to his deck and did not expect to find the family of predators feasting on the seed.

"Bears seem to love birdseed," Jordan wrote, "who knew?
