Great white shark feasts on whale carcass next to tour boats

Aug. 16 (UPI) -- A tourist on a whale watching boat off the Australian coast captured video of a hungry great white shark making a meal out of a deceased whale.

The video, recorded Friday off the coast of New South Wales, shows the great white shark feasting on the carcass of a minke whale.

The filmer said his 3-year-old daughter wasn't afraid of the shark's feeding frenzy.

''We witnessed a once-in-a-lifetime event,'' the father wrote. ''My daughter didn't bat an eyelid."
