Aug. 15 (UPI) -- A driver attempting to traverse a submerged road in Australia ended up facing an additional obstacle -- a road-hogging crocodile.
A video posted to YouTube by Joe Ward shows a car attempting to travel Cahills Crossing, a shallow part of the East Alligator River in the Northern Territories with a road traveling through the water.
The driver appears to be making good progress until a crocodile in the road refuses to get out of the way.
The vehicle moves slowly and the driver honks the horn repeatedly as the crocodile takes its sweet time crossing the road.
"Only in Australia," Ward wrote.
