Fine-dining soccer fan brings cheese platter to game

Aug. 15 (UPI) -- An Australian soccer fan's fancy feast has gone viral after he was photographed dining on a cheese platter -- complete with avocado and bread -- during a game.

The fan, attending Sunday's game between the Melbourne Demons and St. Kilda Football Club, had his unusual snacking habits go viral when a photo of his spread was tweeted by fellow fan Brendan Maloney.

"Demons fans bringing cheese platters," Maloney tweeted.

A person claiming to be a friend of the man in the photo posted a second picture to Reddit and offered more details of the fan's feast, which was served on a wooden board and included a section of baguette, what appears to be a variety of blue cheese, avocado and cured meats.

"He also has a whole salmon in his bag," the redditor wrote.
