Leaky train driver stays dry using umbrella in India

Aug. 11 (UPI) -- An India train driver came up with an elegant solution to the leaky vehicle dripping water on his head -- holding an umbrella.

The video, filmed aboard a train near Jharkhand, shows the train driver holding an umbrella while water leaks into the vehicle and falls toward where his head would be.

The filmer said the video was designed to draw attention to the need for repairs on the country's run-down trains.

"Everyone talks about railway safety, but should train operators drive trains or try to stay dry?" the filmer wrote.
