Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Police in Germany are searching for two small members of the kangaroo family after they escaped from a petting zoo in the town of Bretten.

The Karlsruhe Police said the two wallabies escaped from the Tierpark Bretten petting zoo through a hole in the fence on Tuesday morning alongside three other animals, which were quickly captured.

Police said one of the wallabies was spotted Friday morning, but it escaped before it could be captured.

Annika Willig, whose family owns the zoo, said both wallabies are believed to be wandering wooded areas within a 2-1/2 mile radius of the zoo.
