Aug. 4 (UPI) -- People traveling in northeastern India captured video of a rhinoceros charging down the road in front of them while they provided some color commentary.
The video, posted to Facebook on July 26 by tour group North-East Of India, shows the rhino running down a road in Assam while the travelers followed in a vehicle.
"Look at the size of the thing," the man says.
"It's a rhino," the woman replies.
"Yeah, it's a rhino, I know!" the man says.
The car continues to follow the rhino as vehicles traveling the opposite direction give it a wide berth, particularly when it shows them attention by charging toward them.
The animal causes a near-crash when several cars traveling in the opposite direction do hasty turns to speed off away from the rhino.
The rhino eventually veers off the road and wanders away when a large van blocks its path on the road.
"In rainy seasons [it's] a regular view in Assam. Go to nearby areas of Kaziranga National Park and other national park of Assam, [you] will get this kind of scenario," North-East Of India said in a comment on the video.
