Dog uses paws to undo latch and escape kennel

Aug. 1 (UPI) -- A clever canine was filmed using its front paws to operate a latch and escape from its kennel at a facility in China.

The video, filmed recently in Linfen, Shanxi Province, shows the Malinois dog using its paws to manipulate the latch on the door to its kennel.

The dog, which also attempts using its tongue with less success, is able to push the latch up far enough to reach it from the top.

The canine's door then pops open, allowing it to escape.
