Elephant chases lions away from waterhole

July 28 (UPI) -- A tourist in South Africa captured video of an elephant chasing a group of lions away from its waterhole.

The video, captured in Kempton Park, shows the elephant slowly approaching a group of lions at the side of a waterhole.

The elephant charges when it gets close and lets loose with a trumpet call, scaring the big cats away from the hole.

The elephant, victorious, watches the lions leave before walking along the shore.
