July 28 (UPI) -- Rescue crews in Massachusetts helped save a squirrel that was found trapped at the bottom of a dumpster.

The Animal Rescue League‏ of Boston shared photos of the distressed squirrel with its head sticking out of a hole at the bottom of the large blue dumpster.

Crews arrived at the dumpster in Randolph and determined it was necessary to lather the squirrel in soap to pull it free.

"ARL Rescue soaped the little guy up, carefully removed him and took him to New England Wildlife Center," the rescue league said.

The squirrel is presently being treated at the wildlife center in Weymouth.
