Daredevil cliff jumps onto huge water slide

July 27 (UPI) -- A daredevil visiting a Norway lake pulled off a dangerous stunt when he jumped off a cliff to a water slide.

Benjamin Forthun posted a video to Instagram showing him jumping from a cliff in Bergen, Hordaland, to a long metal slide on a wooden deck below.

Forthun lands directly on the slide, which slings him at high speed toward the water, where he skids across the surface for a distance before plunging in.

Forthun's Instagram reveals the probable origins of his jumping prowess -- he's a competitive skier.
