Yoshizuki diced up sea bream, sashimi tuna, edamame and Japanese mustard spinach to create the special cat sashimi and replaced the traditional rice base with chicken to cater to his cats' tastes.
"I used chicken instead of rice so this is technically not sushi but they liked chicken better so I guess it worked out," he said.
Once the sushi was complete Yoshizuki presented the dish to his cats by lifting a wooden board.
The dish smelled so appetizing that one cat couldn't help but stick its paws underneath the barrier to hasten the reveal.
The chef made one of his cats work for the tasty treat, by asking it to present its paws for a handshake.
Yoshizuki said he cooks for his cats, who are featured in many of his videos, a few times a year around their birthdays.
