Man rescues massive sea turtle stuck on its back in Mexico

July 20 (UPI) -- A tourist in Mexico filmed his rescue of a massive sea turtle that needed some help after becoming flipped over onto its back.

The tourist said he was in Cozumel on Monday when he came across the large sea turtle rolled over onto its shell by a drainage pipe near the shore.

"I thought she was dead then she started blinking her eyes. I had to help," the man wrote.

The video shows the man flip the turtle upright and follow as it heads back to the sea.
