July 17 (UPI) -- A 250-pound bear turned heads in a Russian city by riding in a motorcycle sidecar and waving to passive drivers and pedestrians.

The bear, named Tim, was filmed by a driver Thursday while riding in a motorcycle sidecar on the streets of Arkhangelsk.

Tim was accompanied on the ride by a trainer with the Area 29 circus and the motorcycle driver, a member of the Polar Wolves bike club.

"The main thing is to not let Tim climb behind the wheel!" the motorcycle driver said.

The bear previously made viral waves when he was filmed taking a motorcycle ride last month in the city of Syktyvkar.

A circus administrator said Tim's rides are coordinated with local police and city officials.
