Koala strolls across street in Australian city, stops traffic

July 13 (UPI) -- Traffic on an Australian road was briefly brought to a strand-still when a koala climbed down from a tree and strolled across the street.

A video recorded by Bianca Hollmer and posted to Facebook by Lorne Holiday Stays shows the koala crossing a Lorne, Victoria, street Tuesday morning.

The video shows a crowd of onlookers gather to watch the koala cross the road after descending from a nearby tree.

"This little guy brought traffic to a stand still in Lorne this morning whilst he crossed the road to another tree," the Facebook post said.
