July 11 (UPI) -- A teen in Canada was charged with assault after tossing a piece of pizza at a bystander from his car window.
Police said the 18-year-old lobbed the slice of pizza out of his car window at a man standing outside of his property in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
The pizza did not strike the man, landing harmlessly on the ground, but he later called police to report the incident.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary reviewed home security footage the victim provided them and arrested the teen.
Police said the two men know each other and the pizza assault may have been a result of personal history between the two.
