July 11 (UPI) -- A deer was spotted strolling through the liquor aisle after wandering into a Wisconsin grocery store on Monday.

Festival Foods shared shared a photo of the deer as it appeared to ponder its alcohol selection as store security peeked out from the other end of the aisle.

"'A deer walked into a liquor store...' The start of a great joke, right? Well, it actually happened this evening in the Wine & Spirits Department at our Darboy location," the grocery chain wrote.

The grocery store shared a video of the deer sprinting through its automatic door and rushing past the checkout lines toward the wine aisle.

"If you saw the photos of the little deer in our Wine & Spirits Department at our store in Darboy, you might be wondering, 'How does a deer get into a grocery store?' Here's how," Festival Foods wrote on Facebook.

Customers and store employees worked together to form a "human fence" to guide the deer out through an emergency exit.
