July 5 (UPI) -- A man in Pakistan set a unique martial arts world record by smashing more than two dozen drink cans while holding a raw egg.
Muhammad Rashid of Karachi hopes to achieve every martial arts Guinness World Record and came a step closer to his goal by claiming the record for "Most drinks cans crushed by hand while holding an egg in 30 seconds" with 29.
Rashid used the hand that held the egg to furiously pound on the cans at a rate of about one can per second on his way to achieving the record.
He was required to keep the egg intact and cracked it over a glass after the feat to prove the egg was real and had not been damaged in the process.
Rashid holds a number of martial arts records including most drink cans crushed with the elbow in one minute, most bottle caps removed with the head in one minute and most green coconuts smashed with the head in one minute.
In addition to his many world records, Rashid is the founder and president of Pakistan Academy of Martial Arts.
