A large snake hitched a ride on a New York subway train as it wrapped itself around a hand rail.

"Snakes on a train, yo, snakes on a train," one passenger said in the video.
Juan Guerrero, who captured the video told NBC New York the snake appeared to belong to a man holding the hand rail near where the snake had made its perch.
Guerrero added the man was kissing the snake before he let it hang from the pole.
Other passengers appeared unfazed by the snake's presence, as they casually rode to their destination.
