Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe June 27 (UPI) -- A suspect attempted to avoid arrest by handing a deputy a Monopoly card during a traffic stop in Minnesota. Dakota County Sheriff's Office shared a photo of the "Get out of jail free card" the suspect handed Deputy Vai as he was preparing to arrest him for an outstanding warrant. Advertisement "We appreciate the humor!" the caption read. "He carried this Monopoly card just in case. 'A' for effort!" Despite his clever attempt the suspect was not able to avoid the arrest stemming from a controlled substance warrant out of Ramsey County. Captain Pat Enderlein said the department enjoys showing off its sense of humor and emphasizing community through its social media.
