June 27 (UPI) -- An astonished driver in North Carolina pulled over to snap a photo of an unusual one-man couch moving method involving a motor scooter.

Corey McMillian posted a photo to Facebook showing a man riding a motor scooter near the Lexington BBQ while balancing a full-sized couch across the small vehicle.

"The things you see in little ole Lexington!" McMillian wrote in the June 20 post.

The man in the photo was later identified as local resident Whittney Biggerstaff.

Biggerstaff said he found the couch at the side of the road and decided to take it the two miles to his home.

"I've hauled a lot of things on my scooter, but that was the biggest thing I've hauled," Biggerstaff told WXII-TV. "I was surprised that I was able to do it."

"I don't need two men and a truck, when you can do one man and a scooter," Biggerstaff said.
