Commuting squirrel causes chaos on London Underground train

June 27 (UPI) -- A passenger on the London Underground captured video of fellow strap-hangers panicking as a squirrel ran around the floor of their train car.

Milly Price posted a video on to Facebook showing the squirrel running around inside the commuter train Saturday as passengers jumped out of its way, some screaming in fear and others laughing in amusement.

Price said several passengers jumped up onto their seats because they initially mistook the squirrel for a rat. She said one woman attempted to scoop the squirrel "up for a cuddle," but was unsuccessful.

She said the "trendy" squirrel got off at the Notting Hill Gate station after riding for only a single stop.
