The Mossley Cricket Club tweeted a video from the Saturday incident during the second innings of a Saturday match against the Kerridge Cricket Club in Cheshire, England. "It was scary at the time but I can see the funny side now," Banks told the Macclesfield Express. "At first I just thought 'hello, what's this?' as it was just plodding around the pitch. But then it took one look at me and started charging. I thought 'stand your ground' but that's not so easy when you have a [half ton] bull running towards you." "I went one way, he tried to turn but because the ground was wet his legs went from under it. Then it got up and headed for the umpire and the other guy," he said. "We have kids coming to the games so you always have to be wary of where the balls are flying , but we've never had to worry about bulls."
