Bear raids bird feeder, swats at dog on Colorado porch

June 27 (UPI) -- A Colorado family captured video of a bear climbing on their back porch, stealing from a bird feeder, knocking over a plant and trying to intimidate their dog.

The family in Evergreen captured video through a glass door behind their home of the bear balancing on a railing while raiding their back porch bird feeder.

The bear dismounts the railing, knocking over a potted plant in the process, and approaches the glass door, where the family's dog is barking at it.

The bruin uses its paw to take a swipe at the canine, but succeeds only in smacking the glass. The dog, not intimidated, continues to bark.
