New Hampshire restaurant makes world's longest lobster roll

The roll measured more than 159 feet long.

June 21 (UPI) -- A New Hampshire restaurant has a fresh take on a classic New England dish.

The British Beer Company in Portsmouth recently assembled the world's longest lobster roll, measuring more than 159 feet long.

The restaurant surpassed the old record by more than 30 feet -- and used about 200 pounds of lobster, four gallons of mayonnaise and 10 pounds of celery to do it, a chef told WMUR.

The restaurant needed a number of tables to accommodate the roll.
