Snake slithers across truck on west Texas highway

June 20 (UPI) -- A snake stowed away on a man's truck in west Texas this week couldn't make up its mind to leave the vehicle or stay inside.

For about a minute and twenty seconds, the snake's indecision drove two men crazy as they videotaped it emerging from under the truck, slithering across its hood and burrowing back underneath.

"Oh my gosh, dude that thing is long," one man says in a video posted Monday to Facebook, as the friends drove to Levelland, Texas, just west of Lubbock.

The car's driver, Swade Moyers, told KCBD that the snake later fell out from under the hood, but it came at a cost: Moyers is afraid of the slithering reptiles.

The snake held on for about 20 to 30 minutes, Spectrum News reported, even while the truck drove at 75 mph.
