Clumsy deer takes out New York man's blooming tree

June 16 (UPI) -- A New York man trying to find out what happened to a tree in front of his home checked security camera footage and discovered the culprit was a clumsy deer.

Anthony Cecala tweeted CCTV footage from outside his Staten Island home showing how his recently-bloomed tree was destroyed just before 6 a.m. Tuesday.

The video shows a deer attempt to leap over his tall wooden fence, but run into some trouble at the top.

The deer struggles to make it over the fence and ends up doing a flip and landing right on top of the tree before fleeing the scene without any apparent injuries.

"This mother [expletive] took out my tree," Cecala wrote.
