June 15 (UPI) -- A self-proclaimed psychic who was hit by a car that crashed through the restaurant where he was dining in Canada said he "didn't foresee" the incident.

Blair Robertson, 51, a professional "psychic medium," posted security camera footage to his Facebook page showing a car crashing into Silks Country Kitchen in Virgil, Ontario, and directly striking Robertson and fellow psychic Eddie Diijon.

The video shows Robertson being launched into the air and pinned against a wall by the car.

Robertson, who evaded serious injury in the incident, said his gifts were of no use in the crash.

"I didn't foresee it happening," he told the Arizona Republic.

He said Diijon also failed to predict the oncoming danger.

"A lot of times, we can't even read our own lives and that's just how it works," he told KNXV-TV.

The driver, an 85-year-old woman, was found not to be under the influence of alcohol. Police said she was not charged.

"The doctors who have seen me said it's a miracle I'm not dead," Robertson said. "It made me value life. I don't take a day for granted."
