Woman sits on hood of moving car on Houston highway

June 13 (UPI) -- A baffled Houston driver captured video of a bizarre scene on the highway -- a woman casually riding on the hood of a moving car.

The man said he was driving near the Pinemont exit on Highway 290 when he noticed the unusual passenger on a neighboring vehicle.

The video shows a woman sitting on the hood of a white sedan as it travels down the highway.

The driver did not offer any further details of the incident.

The California Highway Patrol opened up an investigation earlier this year when a driver recorded a man climbing on the outside of a pickup truck traveling at a high speed on the 15 Freeway in Corona. CHP investigators said the man could face a seat belt infraction and both he and the driver could face an unlawful riding infraction.

It was unclear whether police were aware of the incident in the Houston video.
