June 9 (UPI) -- A paint store in Pennsylvania received an unexpected, four-legged customer when a deer came crashing through its window.
Gleco Paint owner Steven Gleason said he was helping a customer outside the store on Thursday morning when he heard the loud crash of a deer barreling through his window.
"I was standing over by the window talking to a retail customer. We heard the crash and the deer passed by my head and landed in the store," Gleason said.
Gleco Paint employee Michael Gleason thought the loud crash may have been a rock flying through the window, but was surprised to find a deer in his store.
"It's nuts. Definitely unexpected. I was expecting a rock to be in the store, not a deer so it was definitely unexpected. I mean you hear of a bull in a China shop. I guess deer in a paint store is the next thing that could happen," he said.
Steven Gleason said he and other employees began walking toward the deer because they feared it may have been injured, but the buck eventually got on its feet and began wandering around the store.
"We were worried that he was going to do a lot more damage, kicking and knocking some paint over. But we were lucky he didn't," he said.
After a brief romp through the aisles, the deer walked out the store's main exit and back into the woods.
"He didn't buy anything. He just window shopped," Gleason said.
