Nick Evans of KwaZulu-Natal Amphibian and Reptile Conservation posted a video to Facebook showing his capture of the venomous snake, which was discovered perched atop a window in a Craigieburn family's restroom. "It's not the biggest, but it's chunky," Evans says in the video. "Admittedly, I was a little nervous that the mamba had the height advantage," Evans wrote in the video's description. "But again, this mamba proved it's species highly aggressive reputation is over-exaggerated. You'll see in the video that it just wants me to leave it alone, and it gives me the typical warning to back off (exposing its black mouth, spreading a narrow hood). Unfortunately, I couldn't do that, it had to be removed. I had to be very careful and as gentle as possible, as to not hurt the mamba, or get myself hurt!
