May 16 (UPI) -- A commuter who nearly boarded the wrong train in China ended up in an even worse situation when the train started pulling out with his finger caught in the door.
A video recorded Monday at the commuter train station in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, shows a man hurriedly getting off the train after realizing it was the wrong one.
The door closes on the man's finger as he is exiting and begins to pull away, causing him to have to run alongside it while trying to free his digit.
Other commuters shouted and pounded on the train to try to make it stop.
The uploader said the man was able to free his finger before the train left the platform, and he did not sustain any serious injuries.
