"#BuyMyVitara -- Suzuki Vitara '96 for sale," Romanovsky wrote in the video's description. "With deep sorrow selling my little beast..."
The video features some facts about the vehicle, such as Romanovsky owning it for 10 years, before showing footage of him taking the SUV for a spin off-road.
The footage continues to feature facts about work performed on the vehicle as it encounters wild animals and scenes from films including Jurassic Park and Mad Max: Fury Road.
"It needs your love," text at the end of the video reads, "and maybe some paint."
Romanovsky told Israel21c the video led to inquiries from as far away as the United States and Argentina, but he ended up selling the vehicle in Israel, to someone who wasn't even aware of its viral fame.
"The funny thing is, the person who bought it didn't see the movie. He saw the car on the street," Romanovsky said.
