Texas man rescues soggy squirrel from friend's toilet

May 8 (UPI) -- A Texas man was filmed rescuing and releasing a squirrel that somehow ended up trapped inside a toilet at a friend's home.

Amanda Boiles, who posted the video to YouTube, said she and her husband were preparing for church Sunday morning when a friend called and requested help with the unusual intruder.

The video shows Boiles' husband, dressed up in his church clothes, donning gloves and venturing into the Whitney apartment's bathroom.

The man reaches into the toilet and carefully extracts the soggy and seemingly tired squirrel.

"He's slinging poop water on me!" the man jokes while quickly carrying the squirrel outside.

He places the squirrel at the base of a tree, and the animal begins to climb.
