Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe May 5 (UPI) -- Police in China pulled over a van spotted driving slowly and erratically and discovered the six-seat vehicle was transporting 40 construction workers. Video from the April 30 traffic stop in Chongqing shows workers in construction helmets pouring out of the van after it was pulled over. Advertisement Police said there were a total 40 people -- 39 men and one woman -- crammed into the van, which was designed to carry six passengers, but had its seats taken out. The workers were on their way to a construction site in another area of the city. Police said the driver was ticketed for overloading and the van was seized.
