April 19 (UPI) -- The Indiana Department of Natural Resources congratulated a 13-year-old boy on the discovery of a "ginormous" morel mushroom measuring nearly a foot tall.

The DNR said in a Facebook post that Kayden Graber was out hunting mushrooms Sunday in Greene County when he came across the massive morel, a type of mushroom prized for its nutty and meaty flavor.

The DNR said Indiana is currently at prime morel hunting season, with the mushrooms being at their height in April and May.

The photos show a mushroom that appears to be about 11 inches tall.

"Are you kidding me?!?!? Congrats to 13 year old Kayden Graber who found this ginormous mushroom near Linton yesterday. He could feed a whole family with that thing!" the Facebook post said.
