April 14 (UPI) -- West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice brought several props, including a pile of cow dung, to a budget announcement.

Justice shared a clip of the live-streamed meeting to his Twitter account, in which he revealed a series of props including an empty hamburger bun, a mayonnaise sandwich and the dung, to announce he would be signing to veto the budget.

"We don't have a nothing burger today, and we don't have a mayonnaise sandwich," he said. "What we have is nothing more than bunch of political bull you-know-what."

Justice also said he hoped to "stop the silliness" of government actions including the $4.1 billion budget and said he was pushing against the Capitol's "immature antics."

"We don't have to be a bunch of babies, we don't have to be a bunch of children, we don't have to be one-upping the other party all the time," he said. "If we're this way, you know what we'll get done? Nothing."

His cow dung stunt drew applause and laughter from the crowd in the Capitol and AARP state director Gaylene Miller said the display was not offensive.

"That's just how the governor is. That's what we've come to expect. He's a homespun kind of guy and I think his honesty is refreshing," Miller said.
