Fox and goose face off in front of New York Police officer

April 13 (UPI) -- A police officer in New York witnessed an intense face-off between a Canadian goose and a fox on Wednesday.

Officer Bennetti of Ogden Police Department shared video of the showdown between the two animals as the goose passionately defended its territory against the wily fox.

The brave goose stuck out its chest and spread its wings in an attempt to intimidate the fox, which was carefully waiting for an opportunity to approach the goose.

Despite the speedy fox's attempt to juke its way closer to the goose, the fowl was able to maintain distance with it's large posture and a series of loud honks.

The fox eventually decided it was at a disadvantage after the goose charged toward it and decided to retreat.
