April 12 (UPI) -- Domino's Pizza said it is investigating a dashboard camera video showing a delivery cyclist riding dangerously through fast-moving traffic in an Australian tunnel.
The video clip shows a person wearg a fluorescent yellow vest bearing the Domino's logo and carrying what appears to be pizzas riding a bicycle close to fast-moving cars in Sydney's Eastern Distributor tunnel.
"Domino's requires all delivery drivers and riders to obey all traffic regulations, at all times," a representative told 9News. "The safety of our team members, and other road users, is our priority."
The Eastern Distributor tunnel is one of the busiest in the city and does not have a sidewalk or a bicycle lane.
Cycling through a road tunnel is illegal in Australia and can carry a fine of up to $190.
