April 11 (UPI) -- A Florida woman helped a troubled lizard escape from a hole in a crate, but the hapless animal immediately trapped itself a second time.

The video, filmed in Largo, shows a lizard struggling to free itself from a hole in the side of the plastic crate.

The woman gives the lizard a helping hand, lifting it out of the hole, but the small animal wiggles free -- and immediately traps itself again, this time upside-down.

"No! No, you dummy!" the woman says to the lizard. "Don't go back in!"

The woman lifts the lizard a second time, this time quickly moving it away from the danger of the holes.
