April 6 (UPI) -- A British centenarian thrill seeker set a world record by becoming the oldest person to ride a rollercoaster.

Jack Reynolds, a great-grandfather from Chesterfield, appeared on Good Morning Britain as he took the historic ride to claim the Guinness World Record for "Oldest person to ride a non-inversion roller coaster" on his 105th birthday.

He was presented with a birthday cake after taking a ride on the Twistosaurus at Flamingo Land theme park in Malton alongside his 56-year-old daughter Jayne.

"It were okay. I'm going for another ride in a minute!" Reynolds said after the record-setting ride.

In addition to claiming a world record for himself, Reynolds' feat helped raise funds for an ambulance charity serving areas such as Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland.

This was the second time Reynolds celebrated his birthday by setting a world record, as he became the "Oldest person to receive their first tattoo" on his 104th birthday.
