March 22 (UPI) -- Dozens of cases of beer were left scattered along a New York road on Wednesday morning after a Bud Light truck collided with another vehicle.

The delivery truck overturned after crashing into a red sedan on a service road in Long Island at about 12:15 a.m.

The impact of the collision caused the trailer being hauled by the 18-wheeler to break apart, sending blue Bud Light cases, as well as displaced bottles and cans, spilling onto the street.

Despite the damage to the vehicles involved, both drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to Nassau University Medical Center for treatment.

The Department of Transportation later arrived at the scene and shut down the road to clean up the mess.

The driver of the sedan was issued a ticket for unlicensed operation of a vehicle, police said.
