Utility truck's extended bucket narrowly misses Texas highway signs

March 15 (UPI) -- A utility truck with its bucket extended upward was filmed narrowly missing highway signs on a stretch of interstate in El Paso, Texas.

Instagram user moy_monster posted a video to the social media site showing the truck driving in front of him on Interstate 10 Tuesday morning with its bucket extended all the way upward.

The bucket appears as though it is going to collide with an upcoming sign pole, but narrowly scrapes by under the bar.

The Instagrammer said he flagged down the driver to let them know the bucket was extended and in danger of hitting overhead signs.

"Who knows what could've happened but I'm glad everything was OK. The driver was very grateful," the filmer wrote.

The filmer said he did not know what company owns the truck.
