Scooter-riding man run over by truck manages to avoid injuries

March 10 (UPI) -- A man riding a motorized scooter on a busy Chinese street had a lucky escape from injury when he was struck by a truck that passed over his entire body.

Traffic camera footage from the road in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, shows the man attempt to drive his motorized scooter past the front of a stopped truck.

The truck, out of video of the man, begins to pull forward in the same direction as the scooter.

The video shows the truck hit the scooter and its rider disappears beneath the larger vehicle.

Once the truck passes, the man can be seen picking himself up off the ground after apparently dodging the truck's tires.

The man collects his scooter and leaves without apparent injuries.
