March 9 (UPI) -- Utility crews in New Jersey rescued a raccoon from twofold problems: being stranded atop a utility pole and having a jar stuck on its head.
Atlantic City Electric tweeted a photo showing the raccoon stranded Wednesday morning atop a utility pole in Greenwich Township while being further encumbered by a jar on its head.
The utility said crews were dispatched after concerned residents called to report the raccoon's predicament.
"This morning, crews safely retrieved a furry friend from one of our utility poles and returned it (sans jar) to the wild," AC Electric tweeted.
