Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe March 7 (UPI) -- An Australian man using a drone to chase the pickup truck he was riding in had a "lucky catch" when the device struck a tree and landed in the vehicle. The video, posted to YouTube by vlogger OldManTriple, shows the Diatone GT2 Crusader's perspective as it launches from the bed of a pickup truck traveling down a dirt road. Advertisement The drone chases the pickup, and even manages to overtake it, but the action of taking the lead causes it to crash directly into a tree. The drone falls out of the sky and lands safely in the bed of the still-moving truck, much to the shock of the truck's three occupants. "Lucky catch! One of the craziest bits of yesterday's flying," OldManTriple wrote on Facebook.
