March 3 (UPI) -- A motorcyclist recording his ride on a winding California road captured the moment he narrowly missed a deer that passed inches in front of his bike.

The video, posted to YouTube by user cbull90, shows the man riding his motorcycle on a winding road in Carmel Valley.

The man narrowly misses hitting a deer that runs out into the road and passes inches from his front tire.

"Totally freak out after almost hitting this deer while riding Carmel Valley Road East. Can't say the inside of my suit was clean after. Enjoy and keep your eyes on the road!" the man wrote.
